About

I am 33 years old. I began work, as a model selector for a children’s model agency before attending university to study Fashion Promotion and Photography. After the completion of my degree,I worked as an intern for several Australian magazines in Sydney, such as Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Elle. When I returned to the UK, I worked as a freelance fashion Stylist and Graphic Designer.

In 2000, I Co founded an international art and fashion photography magazine. I spent two years working on the magazine in the role of Creative Director, during which time I became more interested in the photographic process.

After returning to college to further develop my photography skills, I worked as a studio portrait photographer, photographing children and also as an assistant or second photographer for other wedding photographers.

I decided to set up as freelance photographer, forming Laugh Out Loud Art Photography, so that I could create images in my own style. My approach to photography is of a reportage (documentary) style. I believe the best images are captured when a person feels relaxed and is in comfortable surrounding. I mainly shoot portraits on location using natural light, rather than in a studio setting. I love photographing people, my aim is to inject an element of fun into every portrait session.

I enjoy working in all areas of portraiture including fashion, children's portraiture and wedding photography. I now mainly work photographing weddings, with overseas destination weddings making up most of my work. I offer my wedding photography service all over Europe and worldwide and regularly work in Spain, Greece and the UK. I am passionate about wedding photography and aim to create stunning images that surpass the boundaries of social photography and stand out as unique fine art pieces.

As well as the wedding photography, I also work on personal projects creating a variety of personal images which I sell as fine art prints.
